Refiner’s Fire lights up the stage with Christian music in many different genres. Craig Harris brings inspired performance on Trombone, Trumpet, Piano, Guitar, and whatever other instrument happens to be in his hand, while also providing vocals. He is joined by his wife, Nancy (vocals); son, Jacob (Bass, Ukulele, Vocals and Guitar). The group performed in 2013 throughout the states of Idaho, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. RF also was sent to Ukraine and Armenia as part of a team from the Missions organization “This Side Outreach” (based in Susanville, CA).
From the straight ahead Jazz arrangement of the old hymn, “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” to the original contemporary worship songs, “Blood of the Lamb”, "Restorer of My Soul" and "Shepherd of Israel" (Nancy Harris) plus the reworded cover tunes like "Get A Mission" (Craig Harris) along with Southern Gospel favorites, they bring a fresh approach to Christian Music, crossing boundaries between generations and bringing all who hear them into a unique experience combining heartfelt worship with artistic performance. Refiner’s Fire also frequently invites guest vocalists and musicians to perform with them. You never know who is going to walk on to the stage, but you know you are in for a good time. Featuring both original music and timeless standards in many different styles, you are guaranteed to hear something you will like and equally guaranteed to hear something that will inspire your heart, rekindle your faith, and refresh your spirit.
